OPEN ENROLLMENT
EUTF Open Enrollment runs from May 1 through May 29, 2026. The elections you make during Open Enrollment will be effective July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027.
What You Need to Know
Open Enrollment (OE) is the time to decide if your (and your dependents’) current health coverage will meet your needs for 2026-2027. During the OE election period (May 1-29, 2026), you can:

  • Add, change, or drop a health plan
  • Add or remove one or more dependents
  • Change coverage tiers (e.g., move from Self to Family or Family to Two-Party coverage)

No action needed. Your current plan elections will continue through June 30, 2027.
Optional:

  • Register in the EUTF Member Self-Service Portal
  • Change your communication preferences to electronic delivery under My Account > My Communication Preferences

If you decide to make changes or are enrolling for the first time
Submit enrollment changes electronically through the EUTF Member Self-Service Portal
OR
Complete and submit an EC-1 or EC-1H (HSTA VB plans) enrollment form and supporting documents to your employer’s OE designee.
May 29, 2026, for changes to be effective July 1, 2026

Please note: The EUTF will not contact you regarding outstanding supporting documents and late submissions will not be accepted.

If you’re adding a spouse/partner for the first time
  • Marriage or Civil Union Certificate
  • Domestic Partnership
    • Notarized Declaration of Domestic Partnership
    • Affidavit of Dependency and Acknowledgement, and
    • Two sets of documents showing proof of shared residency
If you’re adding a dependent child for the first time
  • Birth Certificate
  • Guardianship Decree (if legal guardian)
  • Adoption Decree (if child is placed for adoption or adopted)
